China

In the state of Eritrea, the Labor, land, resources, banks etc is owned by a few men who call themselves the government. The Eritrea government uses slave labor in all economic sectors. No one can choose or leave his job. The regime doesn’t care about environmental degradation or decertification. There is no auditing, and income from mining and other sources goes to the same few men who own the country. The only economic activities are mining and remittances. The mining industry is fully controlled by greedy and aggressive Chinese state-owned companies. The Chinese have a monopoly on our national economy. The Chinese ruthlessly exploit and abuse Eritrean slave workers without mercy. Eritrea is a safe haven for Chinese exploitation and looting, with no accountability or transparency. The Eritrean slave system couldnt last a week without Chinese support. Chinas non-interventionist approach toward dictators has created the ongoing horrific wars in in Ethiopia, Sudan, and South Sudan. The Chinese are developing a mining site in the suburbs of the capital city, encroaching on densely populated areas, ancient archaeological sites, and historically significant places, threatening our cultural and spiritual heritage sites. We will stop all these destructive and polluting mining sites, expel these greedy companies. We will work to minimize China’s negative influence and role in the Horn of Africa.
